Guest Safety is our priority...
We understand that coronavirus (COVID-19) brings uncertainty to travel and vacation experiences. At Disney Magic Homes, our guests are our top priority and we are determined to provide answers to any questions you may have.
The safety of our guests is always our highest priority. Here's what we're doing to ensure that our vacation rentals meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning (these health safety measures include but are not limited to):
Up-to-date with the latest guidelines
We're actively monitoring the situation based on updates from the World Health Organization, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, and will continue to respond based on the best advice of governments, public health authorities, and medical professionals.
Quality assurance and maintenance
Inspect property for compliance with cleaning, safety and maintenance protocols prior to each guest arrival. Ensure the overall health, safety and quality of each property with routine preventative maintenance, including testing of mechanicals, maintaining appliances, testing smoke and CO detectors, and confirming access to fire extinguishers.
EPA-registered cleaning products
All our products meet EPA’s (Environmental Protection Agency) criteria for use against the virus that causes COVID-19.
Trained Professionals
Our team of housekeeping professionals follow protocol and always look for ways to improve upon their craft.
Proper PPE Usage
All housekeepers and inspectors wear protective masks and gloves when cleaning rentals.
Overall Cleaning and Disinfecting
Disinfected and sanitized high-touch surfaces at our property. This includes wiping down any and all items that guests, owners and service-providers come into contact with, including keys, doorknobs, tabletops, appliances, electronics, and light switches. As well as sanitized soft surfaces and upholstery.
Re-washed Dinnerware
Housekeepers re-wash all dinnerware, including dinner plates, glasses, coffee cups and silverware, between arrivals.
For the past 16 years Disney Magic Homes have continuously worked to put our thousands of guests from across the world first. Our top priority has always been to provide a clean and welcoming environment at every vacation rental we own.
As we continue to remain committed to everyone we serve, we are now implementing a new and improved procedure that enhances our existing quality cleaning guidelines.
Disney Magic Homes is now following the guidelines provided by SafeHome. If you think we did a great job before, we’re excited to show you that we’re determined to do even better. Introduced to the vacation rental industry by Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA) and Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals (VRHP), these guidelines were designed to follow the recommendations from the CDC and ensure a home is cleaned to the highest standards.
As we approach the world with a new normal, we want to make sure it’s a secure one. Our main goal is to welcome all of you, our magical guests, into a home you can feel good about entering.
As always, our routine inspections are in place to ensure that your vacation rental meets all expectations. Having a show-ready villa is important, but in order for a villa to meet these standards, it has to be as clean as humanly possible.
Our team promises to provide our guests with a thoroughly cleaned villa which includes such practices as washing and drying all towels, sheets and comforters at high temperatures. Staff will also use new gloves when handling disinfected items.
Our team will also pay careful attention to high-touch surfaces including (but not limited to):
All of these surfaces will be cleaned with hospital-grade, EPA-approved disinfectants to ensure that they are disinfected to the highest standards.
Once these homes have been cleaned, our usual pre-arrival inspections will be performed to confirm that the villa meets the standards we have set. This final inspection confirms if a villa is show-ready and able to welcome its newest guests, making our procedures as thorough as possible.
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), there is no evidence COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. For guests staying in a property with a private pool, the pool service company, who will be servicing your swimming pool, is educated on staying safe. They will be utilizing their own equipment and will never use any pool equipment provided at the property for your use. They won’t need to touch any switches or zip timers on your pool deck. However, we do ask for guests to not touch any of the outdoor pool equipment located exterior of the home (Example: filter, breakers, motor, valves, and heater). The techs will be wearing gloves when touching these, however, we ask for no cross-contamination as they handle these items weekly.

Disney Magic Homes Disclaimer: As we follow the guidelines recommended by Vacation Rental Management Association, Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals and the Center for Disease Control, please note that we are continuing to evolve as we gain additional knowledge and guidance. Although we are taking these additional measures to disinfect all properties for guests, we cannot guarantee this will prevent guests from contracting viruses during their stay. We recommend that all guests follow the CDC guidelines for staying safe when traveling.
